So last time I wrote I was really just starting to talk about COVID-19. Now it’s full blown. Some states cases are up, some states cases are down. I’m back to work taking precautions as much as I can. I do, however, seem to enjoy the smaller things I took for granted while working from home and being pretty much on lock down…
As much as I want things to go back to normal, I just don’t think this is something that’s going to happen any time. If I hear the word “this is the new normal” one more time I might straight up puke. I just want to think that things will get better, not just for me, but my 1 year old son has straight up no idea what’s going on… and this kind of thing will be in his history (and science?) books when he’s older.
Fingers crossed there’s some kind of vaccine in the near-ish future. My family and I have been lucky enough not to have caught the virus. *knocks on wood*
Anyway, we decided on getting a camper / ice-house to be able to enjoy the outdoors and fresh air as much as possible… all while being able to keep ourselves ‘socially distanced’ enough to keep us and everyone else safe. Hopefully that means more downtime and more time for me to catch up on my blog skills.
Have a great day!
